Prime Minister addresses the nation in 98th Mann Ki Baat edition

In the 98th edition of Mann Ki Baat, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged people’s participation in the ‘Make in India’ campaign. In addition, he talked about the significance of ‘Unity Day’ which is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel.
The Prime Minister congratulated the winners of the ‘Unity in Creativity’ competition whose final event was organized recently. He applauded the efforts of the participants and acknowledged the praiseworthy entries that were received under competition.
The Prime Minister also commended the efforts of the nation in the digital sector. The power of Digital India is brought into every home in large part with the help of various applications being developed in the country each day. E-Sanjeevani is one such app through which one can have easy access to doctor consultations using the app's teleconsultation feature.
Showcasing India’s digital growth, the Prime Minister said that the impact of India’s digital revolution is visible in every field. India’s UPI has been embraced worldwide and several countries of the world are drawn towards it. Recently, UPI-Pay Now Link has been launched between India and Singapore which is a milestone. It enables the people of Singapore and India to transfer money from their mobile phones in the same way as they do within their respective countries.
He concluded his address by acknowledging the industriousness of the country which acts as the driving force for taking the nation to new heights. He also wished ‘Happy Holi’ to all the listeners and urged everyone to celebrate it with the resolve of ‘Vocal for Local’. Click here to read more.
