‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ finale event to be held at Kartavya Path

The finale event of the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign is set to be organized in the National Capital on 30th and 31st October 2023. Delegates and participants from all 36 States and Union Territories are reaching Delhi to be a part of the iconic event.Specially dedicated trains, buses, and local transport facilities have been allocated to facilitate the two-day programme to be held at Kartavya Path, India Gate, New Delhi.

On 30th October, a day-long event of "Meri Maati Mera Desh" is to be organized, where representatives from various States and Union Territories will participate in the concluding ceremony of the Amrit Kalash Yatra.

The State participants will arrive in groups according to their respective zones at the venue. The States shall showcase their patriotic songs and cultural dance performances. These performances will be synchronized with the representatives from each State/UT pouring soil or rice from their respective Amrit Kalash into a collective, symbolic giant Amrit Kalash. This gesture aims to showcase the essence of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" at Kartavya Path.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the closing ceremony of the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign at Kartavya Path on October 31, 2023. This significant gathering signifies the conclusion of the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign's Amrit Kalash Yatra, with participants hailing from all districts of India.

Additionally, this event will symbolize the culmination of the two-year-long Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign, which commenced on March 12, 2021, commemorating 75 years of India's independence.
