Yashwantrao was the brother of Chintaman Dwarkanath Deshmukh, a renowned freedom fighter, showcasing the family's dedication to independence. After India gained independence, Yashwantrao became the president of Roha municipality, serving the people throughout his life. His leadership remained an inspiration, and his contributions to the freedom movement hold historical significance in Roha and Maharashtra.
