School kids from Sikkim & Darjeeling combining Swacchata & Sustainablity to create ‘Zero Waste Himalaya’ Beat Plastic Pollution is the motto of these school kids from the state of Sikkim and Darjeeling when they roll up their sleeves and volunteer for the cleanup drive. “Return to the Sender” campaign aims at collecting and sending the plastic wastes back to the respective companies so that those can be recycled and thus reduce the production of plastic. Such an eco-friendly effort shows how the young generation is following their kartavya in the fight against plastic pollution. India has banned use of single-use plastic since 1st July 2022
