Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the nation in the 108th episode of Mann Ki Baat. In this episode, he referred to the iconic journey of 108 episodes milestone with 108 beads of a rosary, 108 prayer chants, and numerous temples and divine sites of India.
The Prime Minister highlighted numerous achievements of India’s success story in 2023. Starting with the much-awaited ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Act’ being passed and India becoming 5th largest economy, the Prime Minister also highlighted the success of the G20 summit.
He was glad to share that India has shown remarkable growth and improvement in every field. In 2015, the nation was ranked 81st in the Global Innovation Index whereas today India has climbed up to the 40th rank. The nation has showcased exceptional performance in the entertainment and sports industry in the year 2023.
In the Asian Games, Indian athletes secured an impressive total of 107 medals, while in the Asian Para Games, the athletes excelled with a remarkable tally of 111 medals. The outstanding performances of Indian players in the Cricket World Cup showcased their skill and endeared them to the hearts of fans. Particularly inspiring was the triumphant victory of our women's cricket team in the Under-19 T-20 World Cup.
