विभाजन विभीषिका स्मृति दिवस पर 14 अगस्त, रविवार को सायं 4.30 बजे नई दिल्ली स्थित सेंट्रल पार्क से एक ‘मौन यात्रा’ निकाली जायेगी। उक्त यात्रा केजी मार्ग होते हुए नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल पहुंचेगी। उसके ठीक बाद नेशनल गैलरी ऑफ मॉडर्न ऑर्ट (एनजीएमए) परिसर में एक प्रदर्शनी प्रारम्भ होगी, जो 31 अगस्त तक चलेगी। यात्रा प्रारम्भ होने से पूर्व देश विभाजन के भुक्तभोगियों की स्मृति में दो मिनट का मौन रखा जायेगा। इस पदयात्रा में केंद्रीय संस्कृति मंत्री जी. किशन रेड्डी, संस्कृति राज्य मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल और मीनाक्षी लेखी के साथ समाज के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के गणमान्य लोग शामिल होंगे।
A 'Silent March’ will be carried out on the eve of Independence day 14th August Sunday at 4.30 PM from Central Park in CP to mark “Partition Horror Remembrance Day”. The said march will reach the ‘National War Memorial’ via KG Marg. Thereafter an exhibition will start on the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) campus, which will run till August 31st. Before the commencement of the march, a two-minute silence will be observed in the memory of the victims of the partition of the country. In this ‘Silent March’, Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Ministers of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Meenakshi Lekhi will be accompanied by dignitaries from different sections of the society.
The partition of the country is a tragedy that cannot be expressed in words wherein millions of people were killed or rendered homeless. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called for observing "Partition Horrors Remembrance Day" on August 14th, to ensure that the suffering of those millions of families who suffered the brunt of Partition does not disappear from our memories.

बंटवारे के पीड़ितों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त करते हुए केंद्रीय संस्कृति मंत्रालय और इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र प्रस्तुत कर रहे है- विभाजन पर आधारित फिल्म फेस्टिवल। इस दो दिवसीय फिल्म फेस्टिवल में विभाजन की पृष्ठभूमि पर बनी फिल्मों का प्रदर्शन किया जायेगा।
