DC Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, today flagged off a 10-day residential trekking expedition for boys and girls in the age groups U-14 and U-17. The expedition was organized by the District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Department in Doda.
The aim of this expedition is to promote adventure sports among the youth and provide them with an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the region. The participants will be guided by experienced instructors and will learn various skills such as navigation, camping, and survival techniques.
During the flag-off ceremony, DC Doda encouraged the participants to make the most of this opportunity and urged them to develop a spirit of adventure and teamwork. He emphasized the importance of physical fitness and outdoor activities in the overall development of young individuals.
