Block Level Mitti Yatra organized today with a grand function was held at block Bhalla in Trown Panchayat, where the Mitti Yarta event was organized under the banner of the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign.
The event was held under the August presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Sh. Vishesh Paul Mahajan, SSP Doda Sh. Abdul Qayoom, Sh. Bharat Singh Secretary J&K Academy of Art Culture & Languages, Sh. Pankaj Katoch Additional Commissioner in Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu, ACD Doda Sh. Phulail Singh, Sh. Mahesh Chander BDO Bhalla, Families of Martyrs, another galaxy of officers from civil, police administration, and PRIs of Block Bhalla were also present.
While speaking on the occasion DC Doda highlighted the significance of the nationwide campaign which aims to pay tribute to the national and local heroes who had laid down their lives in the line of duty for the motherland.
Besides, DC Doda also urged the people of the entire district to participate in the event in their areas which are scheduled to be held in the coming days, and to become part of this noble initiative.
Meanwhile, various patriotic programs were organized by the Educational Department and Culture Department. The number of performances was also showcased before the locals by the students of Trown Govt HR Sec School, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the gathering.
