Under the program of Meri Mati, Mera Desh , the Panch Pran Pledge ceremony was conducted by Rural Development Department at Block Srinagar in connection with celebration of 75 th year of Independence and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The venue for the event was: Block Srinaagar and the chief guest was: BDC Chairperson, Srinagar. In addition, the BDO,staff of the Block Srinagar, Panchayat Body also were among the participants . In the back drop of the event, the Panchayat Secretary delivered welcome address at the venue. Then, the chief guest was called to deliver the speech regarding the topic of Meri Mati, Mera Desh . In his speech, he discussed the objectives of the event. He added that , India is on way to the developmental process that was dreamed by the great freedom fighters of the India. Later in the event , the Panch Pran Pledge ceremony was conducted in which all the participants took oath on points as prescribed by the Department of Culture, Govt. Of India. They also took oath to make India developed by 2047 in which the Rural-Urban divide is broken and cultural heritage is preserved with letter and spirit. The event concluded with National anthem singing by the Participants . The event maintained the attendance of more than 47 people.
