Under the program of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ,Meri Maati , Mera Desh campaign was conducted in thePanchayat Halqa Syedpora of Block Harwan. The venue for the event was: Panchayat Office, Syedpora . The chief guest for the event : Prabhari Officer of the halqa . In addition, the BDO concerned, Panchayat Inspector , Panchayat Secretary , Sarpanch and the respective Panches of the Halqa and the general intimates of the Gram Panchayat took part in the event. In context to the summary of the event , the Panchayat Secretary introduced the aim and objectives of organizing the event . Thereafter , the chief guest was invited to speak on the occasion. In his address he said that when India is celebrating the 75 th year of Independence, the development process has gained pace that India is at verge of become super power. He further added that contribution of all those who laid their lives for the sake of the nation needs to be acknowledged . He urged all to inculcate the feeling of being patriot, love and respect for motherland. In the later half of the event, the great freedom fighters were remembered for their ultimate contribution towards the unification of India. The event concluded with the National Anthem ceremony at the venue . About more than 45 people participated in the event .
