Under the program of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the celebration of 75 th years of the Independence of the nation, the Brashtachaar Mukht Abhiyan was conducted in the Panchayat Halqa – Soiteng of Block Srinagar. The venue for the event was: the Panchayat Office, Soiteng where the chief guest was: a DDC Member from the constituency. The Panchayat Secretary, the Gram Rozgaar Sahayak, students and the Panchayat Body was also present on the occasion. During the event, the Sarpanch of the Halqa started the introductory speech regarding the aim of organizing the event. He then invited the chief guest on the stage. The chief guest then addressed the participants. He impressed upon all to induce the culture of corruption in – free in society so that the ill effects of corruption could be countered in a positive way. He also added that the anti-corruption can be a component of the channelized development process. The participants were carrying the posters of the Objective of the event. He urged especially students to inculcate the instinct of No- Corruption from an early age so that we can get a better future. The event concluded with Brastachaar Mukht Pledge. About more than 20 people participated in the event.
