As a part of CMTI's Diamond Jubilee year in 2022-23, CMTI organised various events. Under the aegis of the Diamond Jubilee year institute organized an open day on 10 September 2022. This event was mainly focused on Lab Visits, Service Exhibitions and Poster Presentations for the public. About 1000 visitors including 700+ college students, Industry professionals and the general public have visited the institute laboratories. CMTI facilitated laboratory visits, products and service exhibits, and technical Poster presentations. While the general public enjoyed the visit by witnessing the significant developments happening in S&T in the country, students very well interacted with CMTI researchers to understand the importance and novel application of several technologies which are new to India. The industrial professionals and researchers from other institutions have expressed gratitude for visiting CMTI Open Day. 21 Vijaya news YouTube channels have recorded video shooting, later they telecasted in their YouTube channel.
