Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Department of Agriculture Production conducted the Kissan Sam Park Abhiyan/Farmers orientation programme under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme at PANCHYAT HALQA (Jablipora B) BLOCK Bijbehara.
The programme was commenced by highlighting the contribution and sacrifices of national freedom fighters. The programme is aimed at providing the details of 29 projects and 18 schemes to the farmers at the grassroots level of Agriculture and Allied Sectors. The district Nodal Officer Anantnag for Holistic Agriculture Development Programme has nominated resource persons for the orientation of farmers which provided the awareness about 09 projects of HADP and 06 centrally sponsored schemes. The video clips of the projects and schemes were displayed at the venue on the audio-visual aids. The farmers were enrolled on the online portal by the skill gap study resource persons of the agriculture and Allied sectors.
