In this bouquet of 6 songs, the 1st Tribal Fusion Musical from Odisha by Susmita Das & Team, the Team has tried to experiment with and present through Music the various social and cultural practices of tribal communities of Odisha (Bhumij, Kandha, Santhal, Durua, Ho, Gadaba). The composition is inspired by the music of that tribe for the respective occasion.
The lyrics in Odia have attempted to capture the theme of the occasion. Gurujee Swetachandan and Sanjay Kanungo painstakingly visited several tribal villages to understand the themes of each song.
The performance involves Odia and Folk Songs, the heart of a Stage Adaptation of Dhitang Dhitang.
Susmita Das will be performing on stage with an accompaniment of tribal Dancers.
Dev Meher, an Award-winning Creative Director, will direct the show.
