The Eat Right Millets Mela hosted by FSSAI - Northern Region and FDA Haryana on May 5th at M3M 65 Avenue in Gurugram was a lively event that aimed to promote the consumption of millets and encourage healthy eating habits among people. The event was inaugurated by Sh. Sudhir Singla MLA Gurugram Smt. Madhu Azad Mayor Gurugram and Mrs Inoshi Sharma Executive Director FSSAI.

The inauguration ceremony was followed by a range of activities that were organized to create awareness about the benefits of millets and healthy eating habits. One of the main attractions of the event was the Walkathon which saw enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups. The Walkathon aimed to create awareness about the benefits of walking and how it can improve one s overall health and well-being. Another exciting activity that was organized at the event was the Zumba Dance which was led by professional trainers. The high-energy dance session was a fun-filled way to get people moving and encourage them to adopt healthy exercise habits.

To spread awareness about the benefits of millets a Nukkad Natak was also performed at the event. The street play highlighted the importance of millets in a healthy diet and showcased how they can help prevent various diseases. The event also featured a display of millet-based recipes where visitors got a chance to taste a range of delicious dishes made from millets. The recipes were curated by renowned chefs and showcased the versatility of millets as an ingredient. Overall the Eat Right Millets Mela was a successful event that helped create awareness about the benefits of millets and healthy eating habits. It was a fun-filled way to encourage people to make healthier choices in their daily lives and adopt a more active lifestyle.  The event saw the participation of 2500 people.
