"Vibrant Villages Programme" was launched in Kibithoo, a border village in Arunachal Pradesh on 10th April 2023 by Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation.
Under this program, 17 villages were proposed to be covered where selected participants from various walks of life will be taken to these villages and given an opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture with the populace. The idea behind this is to learn and share new ideas with the host villages and give exposure to the participants.
