Meri Maati Mera Desh program got celebrated in Panchayat Parrypora Kalaroose forest Block with the active involvement of students teachers and PRIs. Under the said programme the plantation process was carried out and the aim of the plantation drive in total was to enhance the plantation programme and uplift the plantation programme at the Panchayat level. The students actively participated in the event with their teachers along with local residents. Forest department Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara starts the initiative to facilitate all the people to cover the green Mission. The process under the said programme was warmly welcomed by the locals.
The Block forest officer along with his local staff make all the efforts to make the programme successful and other allied departments were also invited to participate in the programme (Mera Mati Mera Desh). The programme got kick-started from the said panchayat and a few saplings of plants were planted in the said panchayat. After the successful plantation and distribution of the plantation in the panchayat, all the participants took a pledge for the protection and preservation of the environment and biodiversity. Banners were prepared for the execution of the said programme and were beautifully decorated on the premises of the panchayat to make the programme successful in the finish. The department in future will initiate such events of plantation in future.
