Abdur Razzaq Ansari was a freedom fighter and son of Asad Ali. He belonged to Irba, Ranchi. The Abdur Razzaq Ansari Memorial Weavers Hospital now known as Medanta Hospital is only 20 kilometers away from B.I.T. More Ranchi. This hospital was possible due to the tireless efforts of Abdur Razzaq, who was born on 24 January 1917 in the house of Asad Ali of Irba. But he used to live in Asr Ali. He was associated with the profession of weaving and belonged to a very poor person. The families of those who weaved clothes led their lives in poverty. Asad Ali's family was also facing poverty. After hard work and a lack of education in childhood, he was compelled to adopt weaving as a profession. At the age of twelve or thirteen, he became an expert in the art of weaving. He was involved in the freedom struggle and in the formation of Jharkhand as the state.
