Paying tribute to India’s freedom fighters

Narayan Sao

Narayan Sao was a freedom fighter and son of the Late Nathuni Sao. His date of birth is 1924. His wife’s name was Late Gulab Devi. He had contributed to the 1942 Quit India Movement. He was educated till the tenth standard. During the Sepoy mutiny case, he was sent to Japan jail during the second world war. He was involved in the Sepoy mutiny and was in contact with Subhash Chandra Bose. He was a true follower of Subhash Chandra Bose and followed the path of truth similar to that of Subhas Chandra Bose. Nails were drilled in his feet. He was also a great social worker. During the Second World War, he was recruited into the British Army. He was sentenced to death in the Sepoy mutiny. He died on 2 February 2001.
