Yoga's incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person's mental well-being. Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention, and sharpens concentration.
In view of the above, a program on yoga was organized for college students. Smt. S. Uma, Sr. Store Keeper, MM Division, ME&E department, being the faculty of the program conducted the training and made it a grand success.
Sri. R. Sunny Raj AM(PR) also addressed the gathering and gave a lecture on the importance of exercising daily. Smt. S. Aruna, Hindi Officer cum Training in charge during the address briefed about the purpose of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
