Patriot musical program and 'Sajda' at Tagore theatre in Chandgiarh

In the series of programs under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a musical performance program 'Sajda' was organized late last evening on 23.11.2021 by the Information Public Relations and Languages Department of Haryana at Tagore Theatre here.

The program commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps by Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattaraya along with Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta and Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa.

Haryana Power Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P Dalal, Minister of State for Woman and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. O.P Yadav, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak besides MLAs of various assembly constituencies were present.

While greeting the guests, Director General, Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department, Haryana, Dr Amit Kumar Agrawal shared information about the patriotic programs being organized by the state government to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Famous musician, writer and singer, Sh. Padmajit Sehrawat began the musical evening with the blessings of Sh. Ganesh Ji.

The mesmerising poetry recitation by Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Vijai Vardhan during the 'Sajda' program left the audience spellbound.

The capturing performances were graciously presented by Chief Secretary, Sh. Vijai Vardhan cast such magic that left everyone entranced. Amidst the chimes of the musical instruments, the audience enjoyed the melodious music interspersed by Shero-Shayari in the resonating voice of Sh. Vijai Vardhan touched everyone emotionally. The poetry of Sh. Vijai Vardhan and songs of Sh. Padmajit Sehrawat got a huge round of applause on the occasion.

On this occasion, the Shayari of, Sh. Vijai Vardhan "Bol Ke Lab Azaad Hai Tere" infused a new spirit of patriotism among the audience. 

Along with this, the charismatic performances of Padmajit amazed the audience.  The atmosphere reverberated with enthusiasm when he performed his famous song "Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawan" of Hindi film Kesari.

The musical performance by famous Bollywood musician, Sh. Kamal Dutt and other musicians touched every soul present in the theatre. 

Among the administrative officers of Chandigarh, Haryana Chief principal secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D.S Dhesi, principal secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, additional principal secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal and other senior officers of the Haryana Government were present.
