Under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the festival associated with the rich culture of Punjab'Tian Teej' will be celebrated on August 4 at Aam Khas Bagh Sirhind in which competitions of different categories of Punjabi culture of different age groups will be held and the district administration has started preparations for this.
In this regard, Sub Divisional Magistrate Fatehgarh Sahib. Harpreet Singh Atwal and Sub Divisional Magistrate Khamanon and Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Mrs. Parleen Kaleka visited Aam Khas Bagh and held a meeting regarding the preparations.
On this occasion, they identified the places related to the stalls, pandals, drinking water supply, mobile toilets, parking, etc., and gave the necessary guidelines to the officials of various departments to start cleaning operations. During this special awareness campaign against the use of Single-use plastic will also be organized.
