On the occasion of "75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the district, a placement camp was organized on the 13th, of June under the leadership of Dr. Preeti Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise, Rupnagar and under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi Kumadh Bamba, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (or) -cum-CEO. A placement camp was organized at the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise, Rupnagar. A placement camp was organized at District Employment and Business Bureau, Rupnagar. Mr. Arun Kumar, Employment Officer said that in this camp only male candidates of 8th, 10th, and 12th pass were interviewed by Cheema Boiler, Local Industrial Unit of Rupnagar for the posts of Helper and welders, fitter, turner, and Only male candidates with ITI pass experience for electrician were interviewed. He said that the monthly salary of the candidates selected during the interview would be paid as per the government norms. In this camp, 100 candidates participated and 32 candidates were shortlisted on the spot.
