Following the directions of Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, under the guidance of Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, Mr. Virender Agarwal, Mr. Hardeep Singh, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, accompanied by Miss Ekta Uppal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ferozepur and Dr. Jasvir. We celebrated International Yoga Day in association with Singh Civil Judge Junior Division Ferozepur. This Yoga Day was celebrated on a grand scale today 21st June not only in Ferozepur or Punjab but all over India. To commemorate this day, Dr. Gurpreet Singh and Dr. Lovedeep Singh Makkar under the guidance of District Ayurvedic Officer Mr. Navdeep Singh Brar and Mr. Harbhajan Singh Chawla, a representative of Yoga Society of District Ferozepur arrived at the program as Special Trainer. He directed the Judicial Officer, Judicial Staff, A.J. D. R. Staff and n. Yes. . The gentlemen were given a full 45 minutes of yoga practice. Addressing the press at the time, Mr. Hardeep Singh Judge Sahib said that during today's practice sessions, the trainers explained that yoga is one of the oldest cultures in India which had disappeared in the past. But in today's world of growing sickness and stressful life we felt the need for it and then the Department of Ayurveda in India revived it and now it has spread to many parts of India. With this the spread has now started in North India too which has benefited the people a lot. It should not be celebrated as just a day but we should include it in our daily life. After this Dr. Jasveer Singh Judge Sahib informed that this is being celebrated today as the 8th Yoga Day in which by taking maximum participation one can get a lot of benefit from it in one's daily life. Apart from this, Yoga Day is also held at the sub-divisional level. D. If. It was celebrated on a grand scale under the guidance of M. Sahibs. The day was also celebrated by the Office District Legal Services Authority under the auspices of Miss Ekta Uppal Chief Judicial Magistrate Ferozepur in the ongoing summer camps at Central Jail Ferozepur, Diet Institute and Government Schools in District Ferozepur. To celebrate this day, around 600 people from the above mentioned institutions participated in the practice sessions of this Yoga Day.
