Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur observed the 78th Arzi Hukumat –E- Azad Hind Day at INA Memorial auditorium, Moirang today. Shri M. Joy Singh, Commissioner, Art and Culture graced the function as the Chief Guest. Shri Ng. Uttam Singh, Director, Art & Culture and Shri H. Balkrishna Singh, Director, Information & Public Relations also attended the function as President and Guest of Honour respectively.
Bike rally, floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, traditional dance performances from the Manipur University of Culture as well as songs performance from Sangeet Milan Artist Association, Moirang marked the observance.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri M. Joy Singh recalled the supreme sacrifices made by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army for India’s freedom.
