Embassy of India in Amman, in association with Isra University, Jordan organised an event as part of India@7 celebrations in Jordan. Ambassador H.E. Anwar Haleem was invited by the President of Isra University. Prof. Ahmed Nuseirat delivered a lecture on the theme “70 years of India-Jordan Relations”.
The Ambassador, in his lecture, highlighted the historic, close and friendly relations between India and Jordan which is scaling new heights under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi and His Majesty King Abdullah-II. Isra University is one of the most prominent Universities of Jordan and has established institutional linkages with Academic institutions in India including the University of Jamia Milia Islamia.
The online lecture, which was attended by more than 130 faculty members, academicians and students from Al Isra University, commenced with a special video message fromPrime Minister Modi sent on the occasion of Jordan’s centenary, which was followed by a photo exhibition on India-Jordan relations.
