On 19th September 2021, five addiction treatment facility centres (for Budgam, Bandipora, Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam Districts) were e-inaugurated by Shri Mansukh Mandviya, Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, from the Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare Baramulla, (Kashmir) during his visit to Baramulla district under 'Public Outreach' programme. These centres will strengthen the existing drug de-addiction mechanism across Kashmir Valley, as they will provide holistic and integrated treatment to the drug addicts.
