On 25 November, 2022, Ambassador of India to Japan Shri Sibi George met Mr Hiromichi Kakihara, President & CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, Japan. Discussed operatins of TCS Japan and their Japan-Centric Delivery Model. In Japan, Tata Consultancy Services became the first Indian IT service company to enter Japan in 1987. In 2004, Tata Consultancy Services Japan Co. Ltd. was established as a Japanese corporation, and in 2014, IT Frontier Co. Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services Japan Co. Ltd., and Japan TCS Solution Center Co. Ltd. were integrated to form Japan. Tata Consultancy Services Co. Ltd. was established.
