As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and ''India-Japan@70'' celebrations, an Odisha Festival was held on 23 November,2022 at the Vivekananda Cultural center, Embassy of India,Tokyo. Ambassador of India to Japan, H.E. Shri Sibi George inaugurated the event and addressed the gathering. Ms Kanika Aggarwal, Director,Vivekananda Cultural Centre, was also present. The festival featured a mesmerizing cultural program including Odissi and Sambhalpuri dance performances by renowned Japanese Odissi dancer Ms. Kazuko Yasunobu and team. An audio- visual presentation on the economic and cultural facets of Odisha was made during the festival. The festival received an overwhelming response from Japanese friends of India.
