Ikebana Hyderabad Chapter and Embassy of India organized a book event titled “Mishrana” at the VCC Auditorium. The book event was inaugurated by Madame Yuko Hayashi, Spouse of Foreign Minister of Japan, Ambassador Shri Sibi George, Madam Joice Sibi, Mrs Miyoko Watanabe, President of Ikebana International Tokyo Founding Chapter, Mrs Kanika Aggarwal, Director, Vivekananda Cultural Centre ,Tokyo and Ms. Rekha Reddy, Ikebana Hyderabad Chapter.The event was attended by Indian and Japanese enthusiasts of Ikebana.The book has been authored by Indian artists of Ikebana, from the Ikebana Hyderabad Chapter. It features a soulful blending of Indian Culinary art with the Japanese Ikebana art. The event was held as a commemoration of the confluence of 70 years of India-Japan Diplomatic Relations and 75 years of Indian Independence.
