Department of Zoology organized an awareness programme on “ Corona Viruses: Types and diseases” under the aegis of the “Azadi ka Amtrit Mahotsav” on 18th November, 2022, under the patronage of Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Principal of the college and under the able guidance of Dr. Suhail Jeelani, lecturer, department of zoology.
AIM:- The purpose of organizing this event was to generate awareness among the participants about the Corona Viruses, complications and treatment strategies with reference to the recent pandemic of COVID-19.
OBJECTIVE:- The objective was to brief the participants about the different Types and variantsof Corona viruses , associated diseases and various preventive and treatment options available. The participants were made aware about the different facets and facts about the Corona virus diseases drugs and vaccines developed. Several Faculty members and students expressed their views on the topic.
