The Indian Battalion at the UN Peacekeeping Mission, UNIFIL in South Lebanon organized a Peace Run on 22nd January as part of the Republic Day celebration. Embassy staff participated in the event. All the participants were wearing attire in tricolor. Indian Battalion is currently comprised of 19 Madras Battalion Group headed by Col M S Grewal Sena Medal.
