Embassy of India Baku organized Pravashi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) on Jan 9 at The Landmark Hotel Baku. The event was attended by approx. 100 Indian Diaspora members. The event started with a video message from Hon. MOS VM on PBD. Ambassador inaugurated the event and delivered a speech and highlighted the significant contribution of the Indian Diaspora in the various field around the world. This was followed by speeches by prominent diaspora members on the occasion, namely: i) Mrs. Rajani D’Mello- recipient of Pravashi Bhartiya Samman award in 2021; ii) Mr. Bob Suri- GM of Four season Hotel Baku and iii) Ms. Sara Michel- Country Head of World Bank in Azerbaijan. In the end, the Embassy of India Baku thanked all the dignitaries and diaspora members for coming to the event and making it successful.
