Bibhutibhusan Sarker was a resident of Bankura. It was alleged that he was present at the time of exploding the first Bomb at Deoghar in 1908. Prafulla Chakraborty, son of Ishan Chakraborty died and Ullaskar Datta became wounded. Also present were Barindra Kumar Ghosh and Nalini K. Gupta at the explosion site. He was convicted to 10 years, Rigorous Imprisonment in the Alipore Bomb case. He was deported to the Cellular Jail, Andamans. He was repatriated to the mainland in September 1914.
