Mishri Lal Rathor

Mishri Lal Rathor was born in Raipur on 24 October 1924. His father's name was Shri Papalal Rathore. After being admission to study in Lari High School, he joined a group of patriotic students. An enthusiastic leader of Raipur, Ambilkar often came to school with the tricolor flag, his patriotic slogans connected him with the national movement. He started attending the meetings of the leaders and participating in processions and morning processions with his friends.

He participated in the huge procession that took place in Raipur on 9 August 1942 but was not arrested because he was a student. But he had become dear to the Satyagrahi leaders. Seeing the demand of the movement, he had left school and along with secretly distributing pamphlets, he was encouraging his friends to participate in the movement. On 24 October 1942, Kamal Narayan Tripathi's speech was going on at Gandhi Chowk, and he was called on the stage and encouraged to express his views. Due to this speech, the present magistrate arrested him and he remained in jail for a month.

 Mishri Lal Rathor passed away on 24 March 1989.
