Unsung Heroes Detail

Achhar Singh belonged to Pipli village of district Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. He was sepoy in the 5/17 Dogara Regiment of the Indian British Army. He joined the Azad Hind Fauj in 1942 at the Singapore as a sepoy in Bahadur Group. He gave his life fighting the British at Toungoo at Burma in 1945.
