Kodo Prasad Singh was a freedom fighter and son of the Late Jadav Prasad Singh. He belonged originally to Ramudih, Deogarh, Jharkhand and his date of birth is 4 June 1904. His wife's name was the Late Rachmani Devi. He had contributed to 1942, Quit India Movement. He was in contact with Gandhiji. He was a true follower of Gandhiji and followed the path of truth similar to that of Gandhiji. For his contribution to Independence, he received a copper plate from Prime Minister Lt. Indira Gandhi on 15 August 1972. He also received a pension from the Indian Government as a freedom fighter. He died in 1989.
