Paying tribute to India’s freedom fighters

Ayodhya Prasad shah was a freedom fighter from Sarwaan, Gola bazaar, and Deoghar. His father’s name was Lt. Ramyad Shah and his wife's name was Shanti Devi. In 1942 he was involved in looting the grain storehouse and due to this, he was sent to jail. He received an education toll of the seventh standard. He received the copper Plate in 1972 during the Prime Ministership of Lt smt. Indira Gandhi. He was also a social worker. He had met Dharni Mahto, one of the eminent leaders from Sarwaan at the jail. He died in 2003. He had sons Damru Shah and Dilip Shah and a daughter Manju Devi.
