Hon’ble Prime Minister addresses the nation in the 103rd episode of Mann Ki Baat

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the people of India in the 103rd episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He greeted the nation by applauding the collective efforts of citizens in combatting the effects of natural calamities such as flooding of river Yamuna and the cyclone Biparjoy. He highlighted the contribution of local citizens, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) jawans, and administrations in providing strength during disaster.
Talking about water conservation, the Prime Minister praised the construction of Amrit Sarovar across the country which is yielding benefits already. More than 60,000 Amrit Sarovars were built in the country during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Applauding the efforts of the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and local people towards the environment, the Prime Minister shared the news of 30 Crore saplings have been planted in a single day. Such efforts by local people showcase Jan Bhagidari as well as public awareness of the country's citizens.
While talking about his recent visit to the United States of America, the Prime Minister shared the news of America returning more than 100 rare and ancient artifacts back to India. He thanked the United States Government for this gesture.
