Celebration of 10th Telangana Formation Day at Golconda Fort

Ministry of Culture celebrated Telangana Formation Day at Golconda Fort in Telangana on 2nd June 2023. Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Department of Northeast Region inaugurated the two-day festivities.
In conjunction with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’s ‘Qila Aur Kahaniya’ campaign, the event was organized at Golconda Fort of Telangana.
Cultural performances were held showcasing the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. The two-day event exhibited vibrant colors of India’s diversified culture. The first day featured photo/painting exhibitions and musical performances by Ms. Anandaji and her group. The attendees also got the opportunity to witness musical performances by playback singers Shankar Mahadevan, Ms. Mangli, and Ms. Madhupriya.
The second day was filled with captivating folk dance performances including Dimsa, Bonalu, and Gussadi dance forms.
The event was possible through the collaborative efforts of key institutions such as the Archeological Survey of India, Lalit Kala Akademi, Sangeet Natak Akademi, Zonal Cultural Centers, etc.
