These measures complement the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Acknowledging the efforts of freedom fighters, the Prime Minister said that our freedom struggle is not about the history of a few years, or of a few people or any particular area, but it is about the history of the sacrifice, tenacity, and sacrifices of every corner of India. He added, “History of our freedom movement is a symbol of the strength of our diversity, culture and of our unity as a nation”.
