"JITO Connect 2022” inaugural session addressed by Prime Minister

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the inaugural session of Jain International Trade Organization’s “JITO Connect 2022” on 6th May 2022.
The PM praised the spirit of ‘Sabka Prayas’ as the theme of the program and acknowledged India’s development resolutions as a foundation of progress for the world. Given India’s showcase of excellence across sectors including supply chain management, the globe is already viewing India as a confident leader.
The PM added that irrespective of the area of expertise, background, opinion or area of concern, everyone has collectively contributed to the progress of ‘New India’. He acknowledged the development of the nation and acknowledged its progress in encouraging talent, technology, and trade in all possible ways.
He also highlighted the contribution of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal that has streamlined the purchase process for the Government. GeM is used by people from small villages, small-scale shopkeepers, and self-help groups to easily sell their products directly to the Government. He acknowledged the fact that more than 40 lakh people have already benefited from the GeM portal.
He also added, “Atmanirbhar Bharat is our path as well as our resolve. Over the years, we have worked continuously to create every necessary atmosphere for this.”
PM Modi encouraged the people to work for EARTH wherein ‘E’ stands for Environment; ‘A’ for Agriculture; ‘R’ for Recycling; ‘T’ for Technology and ‘H’ for Healthcare.
