Environmental Sciences, Centre for Biodiversity Studies, BGSB University, Rajouri celebrated World Plastic Bag Free Day- 2021 in collaboration with WWF-India, Field Office, Rajouri. The day was celebrated to raise awareness about the incessant plastic use and its effects. Staff, scholars, and students of Environmental Sciences, Botany, English, Biotechnology, BGSBU, and DAV College Pehowa, Kurukshetra participated. Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice-Chancellor BGSBU in his message emphasized that every day, we come to know about the hazardous effects of plastic pollution and increasing plastic pollution.
