The National Handloom Expo, sponsored by the Government of India, was inaugurated by the Chairman, Shri Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Tarkishore Prasad, Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Renu Devi and Minister of Industries, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. Many fellow leaders also joined in the inaugural ceremony. It will run till 21st December at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. These events are very important for the promotion of weavers. By such a type of sponsor, their art emerges and they get new markets.
