Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the Committee on Capital Market and Investors’ Protection, ICAI (CCMIP), organised an interactive investor awareness program. The program was held on 26th Nov 2021 for the undergraduate NCC Cadets under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to ensure Jan Bhagidari for effective awareness.
The program aimed to create awareness and disseminate investor education amongst students early in life, empowering them to make informed choices for their well-being. Col. Pankaj Kumar graced the program and addressed the participants. Dr Amit Kumar Agrawal, Secretary, CCMIP- ICAI, CA. Neha Bansal, Executive Officer -ICAI, was the faculty and engaged in collaborative and informative sessions.
The session helped inculcate the culture of health spending and investing habits amongst approximately 250 undergraduate NCC Cadets at their initial stage of career planning. Other topics covered were the introduction to banking, the art of budgeting, investment options and their strategies, basics of capital market etc
