Govt. Middle School, Thimon organized a Poster Making Competition on 7 August 2022 to promote the painting and drawing skills among the students. The participants had to select any topic regarding our National Symbols, or related to patriotism. The theme for rangoli making was ‘Our National Flag'.
The children were in high zest and zeal. The participants were divided into two categories-
Category A – Class I to Class V
Category B- Class VI- Class VIII
In category ‘A’, the participants expressed themselves with full enthusiasm. Among the participants, in this group from class 5th Anshika stood first. Dhanvi from class 4th stood second and Ankita from class 3rd stood third
In category B, the competition level was extremely high for the competition, wherein, each participant could feel their pulse roaring as everyone was well prepared, expressed with exclusive colours and excellent drawing patterns. In category ‘B’ the winner was Meenakshi from class 8th, who stood first. Aryan from class 7th stood second and Ritesh from class 6th stood third.
90 students, 4 teachers (Sh Vinod Kumar, Sh Ramkesh, Smt. Parveen Batra and Smt Anita Rani with 7 SMC members were guided. One eminent person Sh. Vishal ji also played an important role to motivate the students. This activity was done under the guidance of Smt. Parveen Batra.
The school incharge, Sh Vinod Kumar, appreciated the efforts of all the participants and encouraged other students too to come forward and participate in such events. All students enjoyed the activity and were encouraged by all the teachers.
