Guest Lecture on Breastfeeding by UNICEF Consultant at Government Medical College and Hospital Satara
World Breast Feeding 2022 activities were celebrated at Government Medical College and Hospital Satara from 1st to 7th August 2022
The guest lecture was arranged on 5/8/2022 by the department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College and Hospital Satara. The guest lecture was given by Dr. Pramila Menon UNICEF consultant. She has given detailed information to students and medical professionals. The event was graced by Dr. R. B. Chavan, Dean of Government Medical College, and Hospital Satara, and other faculties
She has guided students on benefites of Breast Feeding to child mother family community and nation. She also highlight the importance of Breast Feeding over formula feeds. She discourage use of pre lacteal food.
