Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign - Selfie with a Flag Booth launched in Sri PottiSriRamulu Nellore District
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) is being celebrated to commemorate the 75 glorious years of progressive Independent India. Under the aegis of AKAM, a campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” has been launched by Min. of Culture, GoI to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes.
In order to ensure the successful implementation of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program the GOI & Chief Secretary to Government, GoAP have issued instructions to all District Collectors in the State to create awareness programs from 1st to 15th August 2022 in order to achieve the required scale, visibility, impact and outreach to “Har Ghar Tiranga” program which would enable the citizens to take pride in participating in this milestone Celebrations.
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) programme with the instructions of the District Collector, Nellore, the Project Director, DRDA, YSRKP, Nellore organized an exclusive event in the central premises of Collectrate, Nelllore AP.
DRDA – YSRKP is the nodal agency to work for the empowerment of women in the District on sustainable model. DRDA has vast network with women and organized 4,50,000 women in to 45,000 Self Help Groups.
An exclusive Dias is arranged with the backdrop of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) - Har Ghar Tiranga on which “A Selfie Booth” is provided to Pin a Flag and upload the Selfie with National Flag and inaugurated by the District Collector, SPS Nellore District at 10.30 AM today. Nearly 300 SHG women along with YSRKP Staff and DDU GKY Trainees have attended the programme by wearing the tri colour hats and holding the flags.
The programme is started with “Vandearam” by 10.30 AM and after the inauguration by the District Collector, all the participants have taken Selfie at “the Selfie Booth” and gave slogans of HAR GHAR TIRANGA and uploaded them in “http://hargharthiranga.com” website.
The Selfie Booth will continue from August 3rd to August 15th, 2022 in which All the SHG women, staff of DRDA-YSRKP, Public and other Visitors to collectorate will expose to the Selfie at “Selfie Booth” and same will be uploaded the website.
The programme is closed with the vote of thanks by the Project Director, DRDA, Nellore and closed the programme with Jana Gana Mana. Some of the photographs of the event are here with enclosed.
