As per the directions of the Dept.of Financial Services, GOI, Sri K.V.N.Chakradhar Babu, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District has participated in Credit Outreach Program on 8.6.2022 at Kasturidevi Buildings, Nellore for being the part of ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav which is celebrating Iconic Week during 6-12 June, 2022. AKAM is celebrated with the participation of 35 Banks in the District for development of Agriculture/Rural development to commemorate the 75th year of Independence and in turn pass the benefits of Independence to the poorest of the poor.
Sri K.V.N.Chakradhar Babu, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate has stated that, the Credit Outreach Programme is aimed to ensuring maximum outreach by all financial institutions with the maximum participation of staff and customers and public at large. As a part of the event, credit disbursement and enrolment of Social Security Schemes have been taken up all the Banks and has displayed a decent disbursement of Rs.354.00 Cr., under all Segments. 24 Financial Literacy Camps have been organised in the villages for creating awareness about the services offered by the Banks. The District Collector has created awareness about the importance of recovery to the banks and urged the public to utilise the Banks fully by ensuring repayment. He has also requested the Banks to promote MSME to a larger exent to have bearing impact in promotion of livelihood among the public.
Sri K.V.N.Chakradhar Babu, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District has distributed (i) Agriculture disbursement at Rs.210.00 Cr., (ii) MSME disbursement of Rs.69.00 Cr., (iii) Retail lending constitutes Rs.75.00 Cr. Among all the components, SHG finance amounts to Rs.101.63 Cr., sanction letters have been distributed by the District Collector.
