During this occasion of Aazadi ka Amritostav, a 2500 feet long National Flag unfurled by forming a human chain in SPS Nellore Dist, Andhra Pradesh. The District celebrates the 100 years completion of Pinankini Gandhi Ashram, popularly called South Sabarmati Ashram in Pallipadu.
The Ashram celebrates 100 years of completion, which started in 1921 with the hands of the Mahatma Gandhi, has today become a historical landmark in the River Banks of Pennar. The holy land is thrilled by the touch of the freedom fighters.
Remebering this event a march is led by Sri KVN Chakradhar Babu IAS, District Collector and Magistrate and Chairman of Redcross society. Municipal Commissioner and hundreds of students actively participated in the event with a human chain formed in the Grand Trunk Road, Nellore.
